Before you try to shade or shame Khloé Kardashian about her plastic surgery—don't. After years of being relentlessly mocked about her face, the reality star and mother of two won't hesitate to troll you right back. That's exactly what happened to a lucky commenter earlier this week after Kardashian shared a clip of her morning workout on Instagram.
“Do you miss your old face?” someone asked in the comments beneath the post, to which Kardashian shot back, “No.”
Kardashian has spoken before about dabbling in injectables and undergoing a rhinoplasty. On a reunion episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the denim mogul got vulnerable about how the public's scrutiny of her face and body has impacted her self-esteem.
“For me, everyone says, ‘Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant,’ but I've had one nose job,” she said. “And everyone gets so upset, like, why don't I talk about it? No one's ever asked me.”
Recently Madonna faced a similar bout of plastic surgery shaming after delivering a moving speech at the 2023 Grammys. Twitter flooded with commentary about her face, prompting the pop legend to respond first with a thoughtful, measured reply on Instagram: “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in. A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous.”
Then she doubled down with a snarky tweet, owning her decision to go under the knife. “Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down,” she joked alongside a selfie.
