Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey Made Their Red Carpet Debut at the 2022 Emmys

Nominated for her role as alcoholic CIA asset Cassie in HBO Max’s mystery-comedy The Flight Attendant, Kaley Cuoco arrived at the Emmys looking way more glam than “fasten your seatbelts,” could ever cover.

Cuoco wore a tiered tulle Dolce & Gabbana dress complete with pink and magenta flowers. Along with Boucheron jewelry and Stuart Weitzman strappy sandals, the Big Bang Theory star wore a messy French girl ponytail. 

For Cuoco, this is a doubly special night, because her actor boyfriend Tom Pelphrey is also nominated for his guest role in the final season of Netflix’s money-laundering drama Ozark. The couple, who went public with their relationship earlier this year, finally made their red carpet debut at the Emmys to the glee of their fans.

“There are no words … thank you @televisionacad for this honor that I do not take lightly .. thank you to my entire flight crew @flightattendantonmax for the flight of a lifetime ✈,” she wrote on Instagram when the nominees were announced, adding, “and to share this moment with my  @tommypelphrey with his own deserved nomination… what a moment and we are so grateful.” She also posted a short clip of her own elation; Pelphrey is, of course, super happy for her. This is Kaley Cuoco’s second Emmy nomination. She competed in the same category last year for season one of The Flight Attendant, but lost to Jean Smart, star of Hacks. Her costar Rosie Perez was nominated in the supporting category last year, but lost to Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham.

Win or lose, it’s sure to be a fabulous night for the Big Bang Theory star, who always makes the best of any situation. When she didn’t take home the Golden Globe in 2021, she celebrated anyway, with pizza, champagne and chocolate cake…eaten on the floor.

This year she’s got someone to split that pizza with. Can’t wait to see what kind of party they throw!
